Mailbox Money Community Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on micro-philanthropy. We subscription GET all the time (Netflix, Ipsy, etc.), but how many of us subscription GIVE? You don’t have to be rich to give. Let us show you how!
Our mission is to give forward together and inspire others to do the same. We envision a world where everyone can be a giver by participating in organized micro-philanthropy thereby creating a happier, more generous, kind and united society.
See, too often those who want to give back believe their contribution isn’t enough to make an impact. It’s not true. You don’t have to be rich to give! By giving forward TOGETHER, our contributions can make a BIG impact. So don’t let your inability to EVERYTHING stop you from doing SOMETHING.
One of the differences between us and other nonprofits is we give through micro-philanthropy (a little bit each month from a lot of people = game changer). But it’s not the only difference. We also give differently…
There are organizations who help particular causes and people. We aren’t that. In order to uplift our communities, we give to UNSUSPECTING people in a SURPRISING way. What does that mean? It means we may go to the gas station and pay for people’s fuel, JUST BECAUSE. It means we may show up in a local grocery store and pay for grocery bills, JUST BECAUSE. It means we may show up at an animal shelter and bless the volunteers and employees (and the animals, because we clearly cannot leave THEM out) JUST BECAUSE.
We do this with our famous GOLD ENVELOPES. If you’ve read Mailbox Money and the sequel, Journey to the 5th, then you know a little bit about the gold envelopes. If not, check out the books (they’re available on Amazon), but in the meantime we can tell you what we do with them. We give them away. We write a note and use them to BLESS others. This isn’t for birthdays or graduations…we use the gold envelopes to surprise an unsuspecting person with a kind gesture and through our kindness, we hope to inspire people to perform their own acts of kindness. The goal? One million acts of kindness.
So how do we do this? Remember that micro-philanthropy we talked about? It’s a membership. Our members, better known as Engagers, give $10.47 monthly. Yeah, less than a Netflix subscription…and we pool the money from Engagers and use those funds to conduct Give Away Days in our communities. Engagers also have access to our Givers’ Lifestyle brand through our shop. In the shop, Engagers can purchase Mailbox Money merch (shirts, hats, etc.) and the gold envelopes which they use to conduct their own “give aways”. They also have access to other perks. You can check out the information on our website, www.globalmailboxmoney.com !
This Facebook page is dedicated to the cause! We use it to showcase Give Away Days, discuss the books, and engage our Engagers and anyone else interested in spreading kindness and micro-philanthropy.
